December 2020 was an intensive month for the coaches of the Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan since it was full of theoretical and practical Level 1 courses provided by a famous cricket coach – Mr. Andy Moles. In order to have reputable cricket coaches, coaches themselves need a reputable mentor in the first place.

Coaching is not only about showing the techniques and rules of cricket but it is also about teaching, parenting, and caring for the players. All these psychological, theoretical lessons as well as the main techniques of playing cricket were instructed by Mr. Andy Moles. The trainees, in turn, showed their passion, strong will towards the lessons and quickly mastered up the given knowledge. “I was very impressed with the enthusiasm and also the way how quickly the coaches learned and adapted to the game which gives me the encouragement for what I am doing”, – says Andy Moles.

According to him, it is an important step forward for Uzbekistan Cricket in its efforts of becoming a member of ICC and ACC and building a strong basement for the pyramid of cricket.

At the end of the Level 1 Courses, the coaches were rewarded with Certificates signed by the chairman of the Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan, Aziz G. Mihliev and Mr. Andy Moles.
